| Actress/singer
Anne Kerry Ford, known for her interpretations of Kurt Weill's music,
performed this theatrical concert, "Bilbao Moon" at 142
Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley, California on October 30th, 2009.
Utilizing the minimal set designed by Steve Coleman and unhindered
by a conventional microphone, Ford was able to present the stories
of the Weill songs in a physical way. She was joined onstage by Brian
Lane Green and pianist John Boswell, her musical director. These excerpts
from "Bilbao Moon" are intended to give the viewer a taste
of this unique one-night-only performance with the intention of future
productions of this project. |
